Cat Island
Cat Island is a 432 acre waterfront golf community located on Lady’s Island at the end of a peninsula between the Port Royal Sound and Coosaw River. Cat Island is known for its wealth of moss draped generation oaks, the distinctly South Carolina Lowcountry tideland vistas on almost all sides, and the skies which hang big and blue over the peninsula. The community includes a clubhouse with a full service pro shop and professional instruction, 2 lighted, hard-surface tennis courts, 3 swimming pools including an adults-only pool and hot tub and children's pool, a playground and picnic area, as well as a fitness center, and boat landing. The Sanctuary Golf Club at Cat Island is a par-71 course measuring 6,673 yards from the tips. A George W. Cobb design, the peaceful course plays alongside the Port Royal Sound.
Club membership is required to use Sanctuary's Fitness Center, Springhouse Pool, Tennis Courts and attend events.
